When it comes to Foundations I love my Kryolan TV Paint Stick the most. And when I am out and about I generally prefer my Maybelline BB Cream which again is an all time favourite. Then came Fenty Beauty and their were two products which almost everyone raved about a. Fenty Beauty Killawatt Highlighter in Trophy Wife and b. The Pro Filter Foundation which has a shade range of whopping 40 shades. 40! That means there’s something for EVERYONE no skin tone was left behind. And I must tell you that because of this wide shade range I had a tough time selecting the shade for myself. I was confused between 260, 270 and 290. Thankfully did my research well and understood that this oxidises on some people, nothing major but it did oxidised. Hence to be on the safer side I chose 260 and thankfully it’s a perfect match for me. PERFECT ❤️
I just love the consistency of this foundation it’s very thin, just like the consistency of my BB cream. And why I love thin consistency foundations coz they are very easy to blend and you can use blend it sans brushes or sponge. Though I must admit that this particular one blended like a dream with a sponge rather a brush.
And this is a lil better than my Kryolan one! It’s so so so light that you wouldn’t feel like having a foundation on your face. I am someone who hates that feeling of having a foundation sitting on top of the skin.
My concealer, powder, blush and highlighter blended beautifully with this foundation. Plus this one has an amazing staying power. I wore this foundation while we went for a Saturday night party and I danced my heart out for like 3.5-4hours and to my surprise this foundation stay put and looked beautiful even after.
I guess no brownie points for guessing that this is indeed my new favourite foundation. The only con is it isn’t available in India as yet but the speed with which Sephora India is launching I bet this will soon find it’s way here.
PS I am so picky about the foundations that I decided to share my favourites with y’all.
