From a very long time I wanted to try the liquid lipsticks other than Colourpop. I’ve used Colorbar, Revlon and Stila ones so far hence I opted for Kat Von D, which I recently bought off an Instagram store. Out of the huge range of colors I finalised on the shades Mother and Lolita II.
Mother is a beautiful cool toned pink and is described as dusty mauve pink on the site.
Lolita II is described as a terracotta nude and it is the most beautiful and unique shade I own so far. Colourpop Bumble is also supposed to be the warmer terracotta but on me it translates as a dark brown shade.
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks are the most comfortable liquid lipsticks I have own so far. They have a very thin formula, which I like as it doesn’t feel too heavy on the lips and makes the layering easier if at all required. It didn’t budge at all for a good 7-7.5 hours and post that it started to fade evenly. The main difference I noticed between the two shades Mother and Lolita II is that Mother emphasized the natural texture of my lips more than Lolita II.
Overall these are the best and most comfortable liquid lipsticks which are worth trying or if you’ve never tried liquid lipsticks then you should get one of these. There are plenty of brown/nude/red/pink shades and getting one shade would be enough unless you want to build up your collection.
